Wenwa Akinyi gave the defending champion, Dennis Ikekeregor a scare after leading till the last moments of their game. However, Dennis maintained his 100% record, winning by 9 points at the end. Tuoyo Mayuku gave the ladies something to cheer about following a sweet win over Nigerian National champion Eta Karo. Mike Quao and Aquaisua Edet also posted wins over their tough opponents.
